Like the Los Parientes Pinot Noir, the Chardonnay comes entirely from the Los Suizos vineyard that Francisco Baettig planted in Traiguén in 2013. While the Los Primos bottlings are meant to show the more delicate, ethereal, and complex side of Los Suizos, there’s no escaping the fact that this far southerly vineyard is naturally inclined to that expression. Still, Francisco feels that this Chardonnay has a decidedly more fruit-forward expression.
